Television and Media
Jonty Hearnden is one of the most recognisable faces on our television screens when it comes to antiques and collectables. His TV career began in 1996 when he was asked to be a guest on the revived BBC series "Going for a Song" chaired by Michael Parkinson.
From this first appearance he was then invited to join the team of experts on the BBC flagship antiques programme "Antiques Roadshow". After a number of successful appearances he was asked to become one of the presenters on BBC1s prime time series "20th Century Roadshow" with Alan Titchmarsh.
In 2001 Jonty was approached by Leopard Films to present a new antiques show for BBC television called "Cash in the Attic". Jonty appeared in the first ever recording and for the past ten years has been in all seventeen subsequent series including six series of "Cash in the Celebrity Attic".
Alongside Angel Rippon Jonty has made six series of BBC's "Sun Sea and Bargain Spotting" and all four series of the popular programme "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is"
