Antiques

In 1979 Jonty Hearnden joined Bonhams the London auction house where he spent five years learning the trade in the porcelain and furniture departments. He left Bonhams to set up a successful fine art transport company based in London and subsequently went onto manage Lots Road Auction Rooms in Chelsea.

In 2006 he became consultant editor to Miller's Publications incorporating Miller's Antiques Price Guide and Miller's Collectables Guide and was a member of the judging panel for the British Antiques Collectable awards (BACA).

For twenty years Jonty has dealt in antiques specialising in furniture from the 17th century to the 20th century and now runs a sucessful consultancy business.
